We provide mental health and community services for children, young people and their families across the London boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow.

Mental health services

  • Welcome to West London NHS Trust child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). We support children and young people with their emotional and mental health. Find out more about who we help and how.

  • We're a specialist forensic child and adolescent mental health team, supporting professionals working with young people under the age of 18, who are at risk of being placed in a secure setting. We'll work to help maintain community and educational placements, aiming for positive outcomes for young people and their families.

  • The early intervention for psychosis team provides assessment and support for those with a suspected first-episode of psychosis.

  • The liaison psychiatry service looks after the mental health needs of people in hospital who also have physical health problems.

Community services

  • The children's audiology service provides hearing assessments, routine checks, and follow-up services for children aged 7 months to 18 years who live in Ealing.

  • The child development team (CDT) in Ealing assesses and cares for children with developmental difficulties who are between the ages of 0 and 19. The CDT is a multi-disciplinary team including doctors, specialist health visitors, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, specialist nurses, audiologists and dieticians.

  • The children’s specialist community nursing service, provides community nursing support to children ages 0 to 18 in the borough of Ealing.

  • The community paediatric team work with children who have developmental or long term conditions, as part of the Child Development Team (CDT). The team consists of consultant paediatricians, specialist registrars in community paediatrics and specialist health visitors.

  • The Looked After Children service is an integral part of the care provided by Ealing Community Partners which integrates health, social care and educational services for children

  • Occupational therapists provide advice and support to parents, carers and other professionals, working across a range of settings, such as home, school and clinics.

  • Ealing paediatric physiotherapy service works with children to help them become as active as possible. Using manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, also offering tailored advice and supporting behavioural change.

  • The Ealing social communication assessment team (SoCA) is a multidisciplinary team working together to assess young children with social communication difficulties to see if there is a medical diagnosis that would explain their difficulties.

  • The Ealing special school nursing team provides high-quality healthcare to children and young people who need specialist nursing care during school hours, so that they can go school and is part of the Ealing Services for Children with Additional Needs (ESCAN).

  • Our speech and language therapy for children service provides support for children who live in Ealing, aged 0 to 18 years, who have problems with speech, language, communication, eating, drinking and swallowing. We’re a team of over 70 speech and language therapists working with parents, carers and professionals.
