  • Meet Dr Roopak Khara, psychiatrist

    Dr Roopak Khara, general adult psychiatrist at West London NHS Trust, is one of 12 faces of the NHS in a national campaign featuring portraits by renowned photographer, Rankin. Roopak was part of the team that set up the first ward in the country to care for Covid-19 patients with acute mental illness at Hammersmith and Fulham Mental Health Unit.

    Neil Ragoobar is the service director and clinical lead for men’s medium secure services at Three Bridges unit on the St Bernard’s Hospital site, part of the West London Forensic Services team.

    Balraj Basra is a domestic supervisor, working in the men’s medium secure unit on the St Bernard’s Hospital site. In February 2020, Balraj won the leadership category in the Unsung Hero Awards.
