How to get to Charing Cross Hospital

By underground

Baron’s Court, on the Piccadilly line, is the closest underground station to Charing Cross Hospital. It’s approximately a 9 minute walk from the hospital.

Hammersmith underground station on the Circle, Hammersmith and City, District and Piccadilly lines, is approximately a 10 minute walk or five minute bus ride from the hospital. 

By train

Kensington Olympia overground train station is the closest to the hospital and is approximately a 22 minute walk away. 

By bus

Buses 190, 211, 220 and 295 all run to the hospital from Hammersmith bus station, which is situated next to Hammersmith underground train station.    

Parking at the hospital 

Parking bays are situated at the front of the hospital and next to the education centre. Parking costs £2.40 per hour. Please ensure you have enough change to pay for parking and that you display your ticket in the windscreen of your vehicle. There are seven pay and display machines around the site. 

Disabled parking

There are 25 accessible parking spaces on site which are free for Blue Badge holders.

  • Four bays are at the front of the hospital
  • Ten bays are under or near a canopy at the front of the hospital
  • Two bays are by the accident and emergency department.

When using an accessible parking bay, please make sure you display a valid Blue Badge in the windscreen of your vehicle.
